About LOAAOur missionOur mission is to connect, engage and continue to develop the alumni of Leadership Oakland to make a positive change for a more inclusive and equitable Oakland community. What is Leadership Oakland Alumni Association?We are an inspired group that focuses on Oakland, California's current and future leadership, giving individuals the opportunity to share knowledge and awesome experiences and create a great network space in our community. Our 501(c)(6) nonprofit association is comprised of alumni who are graduates of the Oakland Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce Leadership Oakland program. With more than 30 cohorts completing the program since its inception in 1991, we've created a unique pathway to capitalize on the common experience and passions of those completing the LO program.
